Does anyone have any recommendations for murder mystery books with an unlikeable victim? Ideally in a high school setting with a character (s) that is bitchy/complicated/cliquey etc.
Some books I really liked recently are 13 minutes and a good girls guide to murder. Similar movies would be Heathers and Bodies Bodies Bodies. Thank you!

The It Girl by Ruth Ware is peak mean girl murder mystery. It’s set at a college not high school but otherwise it’s exactly what you’re looking for.
