I'm looking for some non-fiction books about survival stories and/or prison escapes (or anything in a similar vein). I love tales of resilience and survival against the odds. Here are some books I've really enjoyed:
- Endurance: Shackleton's Incredible Voyage by Alfred Lansing
- When I Fell From the Sky by Juliane Koepcke
- Alive by Piers Paul Read
- Not Without My Daughter by Betty Mahmoody and William Hoffer
- Papillon by Henri Charrière

I’m big on perilous adventures gone wrong. Your books seem to be of the same style I enjoy. I’ve read Alive and liked it, couldn’t get through the beginning of Endurance. Maybe I need to give it another shot. Try these, I’m confident you won’t be disappointed.
