I'm looking for books that have a similar feel to TV shows like Derry Girls, Bad Sisters, We Are Lady Parts, Good Girls…dark/sarcastic humour, cultural references, interesting female characters and relationships, good balance of humour and addressing more serious issues. I can't really think of any books that fit this, and I'm much more of a reader than a TV watcher so I hope someone can suggest some!
