My wife's birthday is coming up and I am a complete loss as to a good book to get her for her birthday. I have used people's recommendations here before and they have worked wonderfully. I was hoping you all could recommend some books based on some of the ones she has read and really enjoyed recently. This year, she has liked Circe by Madeline Miller, Beartown Frederick Backman, All the light we cannot see by Anthony Doer, the Nightingale by Kristin Hannah, Lincoln in the Bardo by George Saunders, The Midnight Library by Matt Haig and the aglass Hotel by Emily St. John Mandel to name a few. I look forward to hearing your suggestions!

Life After Life by Kate Atkinson

Life After Life follows Ursula Todd as she lives through the turbulent events of the last century again and again. With wit and compassion, Kate Atkinson finds warmth even in life’s bleakest moments, and shows an extraordinary ability to evoke the past. Here she is at her most profound and inventive, in a novel that celebrates the best and worst of ourselves.

    2. Beartown is a series and so you could get her the subsequent books. Otherwise Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin and Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt.
