what book really nourished your brain and itched that part of your brain you couldn’t reach?
i’m trying to find some really interesting books that can really expand my horizons on unusual topics. i want to read something that really leaves me thinking a while after i’ve finished reading it.

If you’re interested in that area of the world at all I thought Misha Glenny’s The Balkans was very thorough.
The Urantia Book. It’s mind-blowing if approached with an open mind and willingness to jump in with both feet.
The Tao of physics is a really well written book that try’s to break down a lot of eastern philosophy and quantum mechanics.
