Nettle and Bone by T. Kingfisher had that Ghibli feel to me.

I’m reading The Secret Garden right now and I’d say it has a similar vibe to Ghibli. It’s got a pretty laid back pace and the main characters are children discovering the wonders of nature. Granted, the beginning is pretty tragic, but that tone doesn’t last very long.
