spiritual books for an atheist?

Okay, so to preface this I want a book that could help me connect more with the world around me. Something abstract that does not try to guilt/scare me into believing in a higher power. I'm barely interested in gods, I am not really looking to be converted, I just need something that makes me more aware of the world around me and more connected to nature. Something thoughtful, that will leave me with ideas I can chew on for a couple of days.
