My tastes definitely lean more reflective & character-driven when it comes to books, and these typically end up being slow or medium in pace. Sometimes I want to switch it up for a fast-paced page turner, but I often find those stories & characters surface-level and overall lacking depth. Would love to hear some recommendations of fast paced books able to strike a good balance!
One example of a fast-paced book I really enjoyed is Dark Matter by Blake Crouch.
