So I have a small list of books. If you have read any of these, please give your input if I should read it. And yes, I know each of these books is totally different in theme/content/writing than the other and have nothing in common. But I'd appreciate if someone tried to "sell me" on a book if one of these is their favorite and why I should read it next.

I’ve been meaning to read the manchurian candidate myself. I saw it referenced in the title of an episode of a show I watched as a kid and got curious about the origin. I’m in the middle of lolita right now and I need to finish the myth of sisyphus.
