Hi everybody!
I'm putting together a reading challenge for my local zoo with books focusing on wildlife conservation or just cool animal information. I've found a million beautiful books for both adult and very young readers, but I've been struggling to find many for readers who are in between. If it helps, two that I have found are: the young reader adaption of "What it's Like to be a Bird" by David Sibley and the junior edition of "The Sixth Extinction" by Elizabeth Kolbert. If you have suggestions for these types of books I'd greatly appreciate it!
(Also, at our zoo, we do not have any sea life (marine mammals, ocean fish, etc), and we are trying to keep the books at least somewhat tied to what animals we have here, so I have been trying to avoid any books that feature solely those types of animals if possible!)
