i know it's an unpopular opinion but i'm not the biggest fan of romance. i like it, but not when it overshadows or weaves directly into the entire plot.
angelfall by susan ee is one of my favoriteeee fantasy books. it's focus on the plot and a slow romance that builds up between each book, rather than quickly and heavily all in one.
i'm planning on reading the cruel prince because i heard the story functions in a similar fashion, but any other recs would be greatly appreciated ♡
