Need a Romance or Thriller to Gift

I'm signed up for a book exchange and need some suggestions.

The person is into Romance and thrillers and their favorite authors are James Patterson and Nicolas Sparks.

I'm looking for something released in the last six months or something older than 5 years , random time frames, but I don't know what they've read as it was not part of the questionnaire and they did not share a wishlist.

The person seems to lean slightly religious, so maybe nothing too spicy, although I'm not familiar with either of their favorite authors actual books (I saw the notebook and don't remember it being spicy, but books tend to be better than movies so who knows).

Any suggestions appreciated as I want to get their basket created this weekend.
