Hi everyone, I'm looking for books similar to The Silk Roads by Peter Frankopan. I'm especially interested in reading about Asia and civilizations, and to obtain differents perspectives. If anyone has any suggestions I would be very happy

I’ve sadly not read much Asian history, but one book that comes to mind is **The Anarchy: The Relentless Rise of the East India Company** by William Dalrymple. It follows the clashes between the various Indian kingdoms and European colonisers in the 18th century. There’s also **The Jakarta Method** by Vincent Bevins, which is about the rise and violent suppression of communism in Indonesia during the Cold War.
