The main things I like about the two of them is just how clever and in depth they are with their writing, it just feels so rare to find that kind of style. But I'm very glad that I've found them and am wondering if theres more out there with unique concepts of crime and/or alternate history. There's alot of sci Fi books I've found with those plots but I've found them hard to get into since I like something with a bit of realism
I should've also pointed out I've read Cryptonomicom, Anathem, The Eyre Affair, and The Big Over Easy. I plan on reading The System Of The World soon but am still curious if theres more like these
