Hey all! I used to be a voracious reader as a teen, and then experienced a spell in my young 20s where I barely touched a book. I'm rediscovering my love for reading, but have found that have little attention span for books that don't grab me. The problem is..I'm not entirely sure what grabs me until I'm reading it. So…I'm hoping to pick your collective brains for ideas. I Here are some of the things I've recently read that I love (good luck finding a pattern) to help inform your recommendations:
Anxious People by Fredrik Backman
A Man Called Ove by Fredrick Backman
Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman
The Glass Castle by Jeanette Wells
A Head Full of Ghosts by Paul Tremblay
John Dies at the End by Jason Pargin
The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
The Beekeeper of Aleppo by Christy Lefteri
Thanks for your help!
