recently i've been playing some demos of games with the tags "stalker" or "yandere". now i need to read at least several books where the male mc is obsessed with the female mc. not as in he wants to kill her, but as in he wants to kill anyone who ever touches her. i've already read haunting adeline and the second part was a bit too strong for me. i've also read "once you're mine" and the writing felt as if it came out of a very poorly written fanfic. i want something that got picked up by an actual publishing house.
in terms of obsession where it's not strictly romance, i've read "my husband" by maud ventura and it was simply amazing! i plan reading the book series "you", since i am still so invested in the tv show.
