I'm a huge mystery/thriller fan who usually can't get through a book unless it has cliffhangers every few chapters, a big plot twist at the end, and keeps me constantly guessing. I'm a bit embarrassed by my narrow reading preferences and want to explore other genres. Can you recommend any non-mystery/thriller books that have that unputdownable feeling with gripping plots or compelling narratives? Any genre suggestions are welcome!

The Blacktongue Thief got me into fantasy. I personally found it to be a page-turner.

I’ve just finished Lace by Shirley Conrad which is Filth but I couldn’t put it down. It’s also got a mystery element to it which kept me guessing.
