Hello! I am looking for books with folklore based faeries. While I love acotar and the likes I don’t feel like those faeries give enough whimsy. I just read Emily Wildes Encyclopedia of Faeries (and the sequel) and I’m obsessed with the folklore inspired fae. (How many times can I can faerie in one post?) preferably something YA/NA or above but it doesn’t necessarily have to be a Romantasy! Thanks!

Half a Soul by Olivia Atwater, lighthearted and cozy but perhaps not as heavily focused on folklore as Emily Wilde. Another one would be A Study in Drowning by Ava Reid, this one is more gothic and mysterious.
