Hi everyone! Recently, I’ve read a lot of books that have left me feeling “meh”. I’m really craving a novel that is impactful and powerful. I love when books actually make me feel strong emotions! I tend to love historical and queer fiction (or generally anything with a social justice theme), but I’m open to anything.
Books I have loved:
-
Kindred by Octavia Butler
-
Ace of Spades by Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé
-
I’ll Give You The Sun by Jandy Nelson
-
Butter Honey Pig Bread by Francesca Ekwuyasi
-
Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi
What is a book you’ve read that was very impactful? Thank you!
