Myths, legends, folklore oh my!

Hello 🙂 I was wondering if anyone knows any books centered around mythology, folklore, even religion.

Specifically books that aren't a compiled collections of different stories. I'm also not looking for retellings of stories.

Basically books that are infodumping and researched based. That goes into analysis of something specific (like a psychoanalysis of Hera or the intricacies of the fae court in Irish folklore)

I'll even take any actual research papers anyone may recommend.

Sorry if this is too specific. I'm trying to itch my brain.
