Pirates/fantasy/strong female lead

Hey guys. Currently reading Throne of Glass series and there's a pirate character that I am thoroughly enjoying. Was wondering if anyone had a recommendation for fantasy about pirate. I'm talking sea dragons, krakens, angry water monsters and gods. Bonus points if there's cool female characters but that's not a deal breaker if it's male leads. TIA
