I recently completed {Stoner} and {Tess of the D'ubervilles} and am interested in a novel where the MC starts in a normal household, gets educated and nothing extraordinary happens in school, just regular life events, gets married, has jobs to make ends meet, kids, and dies, where the cycle continues.

Just a story of a regular person's life. {Jude the obscure} is the closest thing I can find that matches this request.

“Standing in the Rainbow” by Fannie Flagg takes place from post-WW!! up to the millennium, and aside from a little drama, it’s about as slice of life as it gets. The first part mainly focus around Bobby, a young average boy growing up in an average town, going to picture shows and the local pool in summer, and all that good stuff.
