I don't read a huge amount but when I do I almost exclusively read fantasy or sci-fi. I'm starting to get slowly jaded by all the medieval fantasy, as much as I love it, so would love suggestions of fantasy (no YA) rooted in other styles or cultures. What are your favourites?

The Poppy War by R.F. Kuang is very much inspired by China and Chinese culture. It’s on my list but I haven’t read it so I can’t say if it’s actually good or not.
