Suggest me a … nonfiction book about how colonization led to animal extinctions/ endangerments (think: the dodo)

I read of lot of nonfiction (sorta) popsciene books like the Sixth Extinction or Life on the Rocks or Finding the Mother Tree, so I’m looking for something in this vein. The subject matter I’m looking for could maybe best be described as “how colonization led to animal extinctions in the new world – such as the dodo.”
Anything y’all can think of that might work for this suggestion??
