Of Blood and Fire by Ryan Cahill
Vs
Shadow of the gods by John gwynne
Been sample surfing, for a great series to get me into reading other stuff than stand alone books.
(Also reading lotr but that's …. )
I love the settings in both, i just feel like the sample of Shadow might be lacking.. As it was hardly anything there… To hint at a plot beyond it having trees…
I don't think I've read a sample faster than I read "Of blood and fire", but don't know if it's cause it did a better job with intro and pacing or If the book is just more my thing….
Can someone who have read both give a Spoiler FREE nudge for either or..
