Just finished Abraham Verghese’s Cutting for Stone and Covenant of Water and wanting more with the same vibes
From my research lots of the medical books worth reading seem to lean more on medicine/science unsurprisingly, but not sure if they’ll have the same captivating narratives that were so satisfying in Verghese’s books.
I’m reading Mary Roach for now but would love to expand my list

Have you read Dr. Mütter’s Marvels by Cristin O’Keefe Aptowicz? It’s a great nonfiction read.
