modern books like “one flew over the cuckoos nest”

i’m doing an english literature A level under the CCEA exam board and for my coursework i need to write an essay comparing and contrasting two books, one has to be 21st century !

i already know i want to have one book be One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, but i have no idea for the comparison novel!! any help would be greatly appreciated

i was looking to have the theme be something power related if that’s any help
