This topic is sort of geared towards those who were in high school from 2000-04. I'm doing a reading challenge and one of the topics is a book you were assigned in school. My memory is terrible and I can't remember much other than a couple classics. Hoping some here can suggest me a book that might trigger a memory of something I had to read? I know every school curriculum was different but I also feel there were probably a lot that we all collectively were reading.

A couple I remember so far (nothing of which is striking my fancy to re-read but will if I have to lol):
    -Great Gatsby
    -Lucky Jim
    -Canterbury Tales
    -All the Shakespeare
    -Tuck Everlasting
    -Catcher in the Rye
    -To Kill a Mockingbird

    1. We didn’t have required reading in our curriculum, but we did a novel study of I am the Cheese by Robert Cormier.

    2. In Scotland for Higher English we did The Inheritors by William Golding, Macbeth, Death of a Naturalist (poetry collection) by Seamus Heaney. For sixth year we did Othello, Anthony and Cleopatra, Great Expectations and Hard Times by Dickens, and I’m sure there was something else I’ve forgotten. Elective works that I can recall were a choice of three George Orwell novels, some stuff by Iain Banks that I can’t recall, and a few other things (there was a list you could choose from).
