Is There Such a Thing as a Reverse Isekai?

Isekai fantasy has the protagonist hating this world and longing to journey to another. I've never related to the genre, and I realize that what I long for is a story about someone who journeys to another world, comes back, and tries to bring the benefits of that other world here. Anyone come across anything like that?
