There’s plenty of books with magic systems that have many magics in them, but what about single element magic systems where the power is delved deep into? Any book is fine even if it’s paranormal. Please and thank you for the recommendations! 😊

The Mistborn trilogy by Brandon Sanderson
The Black Prism by Brent Weeks. The magic is based on colors. It’s the first book the Lightbringer series. I haven’t read any other than the first book so I don’t know if they are any good
Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson. This too has magic based on colors
The Locked Tomb series by Tamsyn Muir — All magic is a form of necromancy — bones, blood, flesh, spirit. No other magic exists in the world. A weird and experimental series of books. Also very well written.
