As the title asks, are there any books similar to York by Laura Ruby, but for an adult age range? I didn't realize the age 9-12 reading level when I ordered the first book in the series. It was entertaining and a quick read, but definitely left me craving more substance and a darker theme. I especially like the alternative reality concept, and the scavenger hunt that keeps the reader engaged as we await the next clue.
