FYI asking this as someone who was raised Christian but isn't religious and hasn't been for a decade
What I mean is some people will use religion as a way to reinforce their bigoted/judgmental/hateful beliefs. eg. someone advocating for homophobia because homosexuality is a sin. But proper Christianity (i.e. that Jesus guy) would say don't judge others, just love others.
Are there any books that dive into this topic? Books dissecting the judgmental/negative sect of Christianity and/or juxtaposing it with what Jesus would've done?
