The video game Black Myth Wukong recently came out and it looks amazing. I saw in some reviews that the plot was hard to follow if you haven't read Journey to the West so I'd like to check it out before I play.
Looked on Audible and there are two versions available, both abridged. One is called Monkey: A Folk-Tale of China and the other is Monkey King: Journey to the West.
I'm curious if anyone has read either or both of these and would be willing to help me pick?
