really want to read something about a character who is obsessed with revenge to the point of their own detriment, love the idea of someone just declining through the book. think mariners revenge song. i dont care too much about the genre

Maybe not quite seeking revenge to their own detriment but it’s one from my library that comes to mind that’s about a man seeking revenge on the man who killed his sister and her family while he was serving in the civil war.
