American Gods is my favourite book of all time, and sone of the only other series i’ve read like it are Percy Jackson, (which I do like, i’m just in the mood for something more mature these days), or the Hellboy comics
Some other television shows i liked with that vibe were the X-Files and True Detective s1, which both deal in small american towns with the supernatural/paranormal aspect more subtle and lowkey.
