I am wondering if you fine folks can point me in a direction when it comes to historical fiction.
I am learning a lot about blade fighting mechanics due to a deep dive on YouTube, and also have a passion for gritty military themed novels that touch on politics, humanity, and potentially romance.
I really enjoy the Red Rising series by Pierce Brown and how it bounces between humanity/philosophy and CRAZY space battles, but would love recommendations for something more antique, yet similar style if at all possible.
