I've been looking for a Sci-Fi book where our protagonist is the last person in that area/planet, and they have to cope with the loneliness through mostly day to day tasks but finding beauty in them whilst expanding on the world our protagonist is in. If anyone has listened to Porter Robinson's Goodbye To A World, invokes that feeling.
