Peter clines. 14. The fold. And some others. Easy reads. Interesting. Good audio books. Dark horrorish. I liked “the fold” the most. Books are in the “same” universe but are stand alone

Fairy Tale by Stephen King?

Dawn by Octavia Butler. It will make you feel incredibly uneasy as it deals a lot with consent in terms of preserving humanity and what that means.

The expanse series. It’s not horror, but there is war and horror elements

The two scariest sci-fi books I know of are:
Ship of Fools by Richard Russo
Eclipse by Ophelia Rue
Blindsight is also scary but the sequel reeks so I don’t usually rec it.
