hi all! this may be a very particular request haha, but I’m working on a novel in which a character is getting married; however, I have not been to many weddings myself, and have never been involved in the bridal party. I’m trying to get an accurate sense of timeline and planning and the world of a bride to be might look like. I’m planning to watch the film Rachel Getting Married, which afaik is about a dysfunctional family at a small, intimate wedding.
any recs for books wherein a character is getting married? all the ones I can think of are romance novels, and generally have more grand venues haha!
