They do not have to be fiction, though I prefer it. I do like auto/biographies but again, prefer fiction if it’s a story about someone I’m not super familiar with, though I don’t mind doing a bit of research over someone new.

I have read almost all the other work by these authors haha, so no recommendations with them. I’m not a big fan of books with large romantic plot points but I do not mind romance/sex in books as long as it’s not a major theme. I also don’t read a lot of young adult fiction, but im open to other genres being mingled with the forlorn settings like fantasy, folklore, mythology, etc. I know song of Achilles has a large romantic plot in it, but the way it’s told isn’t a very standard romance, so that being said I’m also okay with it involving relationships if mental health/grief are taking forefront. Sorry I know this is a pretty demanding ask, I’m pretty picky sometimes and am in a very specific mood.
