Easy all, just joined here as I’d like some recommendations for books to read! The sort of vibe I’m after is gothic / fantasy / eerie. I’m not into true crime / horror etc, but the books and movies I love are Castle of Otranto, Dorian Grey, Sleepy Hollow, Edward Scissorhands, The Green Knight, LOTR, Voice of the Fire (Alan Moore), Dracula. Basically gothic, fantasy, kinda creepy, mysterious, descriptive writing etc and preferably nothing super long, I quite like short stories.
