the oversaturation of YA fantasy (particularly on 'booktok') has made me feel a bit sour about trying the fantasy genre again as a whole. they all seem to blend together in my brain, but I want to change my mind about it. I'm looking for a fantasy novel preferably on the darker side that might help me warm up to it!
