Bwah ha ha no. I remember people talking during the pandemic about how much flimsier books were being printed, and the reason was the cost of GOOD paper had gone sky-high. Nary a mention of CO2 emissions, and that was less than 4 years ago. It’s publishers being cheap and now trying to greenwash the decisions being made.
