I’m talking evil scientists, rogue experiments, clinical science elements (especially horror), and a sort of hard science fiction take on superheroes or the origin of superheroes/superpowered people. Something with the same vibes as Frankenstein, but instead of a homunculus it’s a traumatized hero/lab rat.
I have read Vicious and Vengeful, and liked both of those a ton (Vicious more than Vengeful).
