After reading Convenience Store Woman by Sayaka Murata, and both Morisaki Bookshop novels by Satoshi Yagisawa, I need more Japanese writers in my life.
To be honest, the main appeal for me is that these types of books give you a window into regular life in Japan. The last time I was in Japan was in 2011, but I really miss it, and Days at the Morisaki bookshop really brought me back. Looking for any suggestions that would potentially do the same.
