Because it isn’t exactly a romance novel. The protagonist goes through a journey about food to discover how they have been overworking themselves for something that is not making them happy. They go on their own adventure but at the end of this they realize that there has been a special someone who has been there for them every step of the way. I like this book because it isn’t about some protagonist love interest waltzing into the story and making everything all better.
