I pulled that book from a list of suggestions given to someone else, probably on this sub, and I’m not even sure what it was in the description that made me choose it, but I loved it and would like a book with similar style.
Fox 8 is a short book by George Saunders about a fox that learns to speak “human” and what happens to him and his friends. It is probably under 50 pages although I “read” it as an audiobook. Hard to describe but it is just a unique book/perspective that was humorous and not cloyingly sweet. Would love to know other recs for similar books if anyone has them!
