What are some of the most interesting/unique/compelling magical systems in books published in the past 3 years? No YA please.

I'm looking for great worldbuilding that centers around magic.

Please limit suggestions to the last 3 years simply because there are older threads that ask a similar question. If you're burning to include something older go ahead, I'm just trying to avoid reposts.

I'm looking for more adult material if you please. If you're burning to suggest a YA book feel free to do so, but please label it as such so that I can look down my nose at it. 😉
