Title pretty much sums it up!

I’m a 27-year-old female and John Green has been my absolute favorite author ever since I started reading his books in high school. I’m a very reflective person, so I love seeing how his protagonists think about things and make sense of the world around them/ find deeper meanings and learn lessons about life.

I’m looking for other authors/ books that have that same sort of vibe. Preferably not in the YA genre because I’m looking for situations more relevant to what I’m going through now in my mid-late twenties lol. Thanks so much in advance for any recommendations!

(26y old female) Just got back into reading after a few years and I was also a big John Green fan in high school.. I flew through two books by Lucy Foley recently “The Paris Apartment” and “The Guest List”. First person, but the perspectives change every chapter. Not sure if this is what you’re looking for, but I would definitely recommend them.

A few books that John Green has recommended himself are Martyr! by Kaveh Akbar and Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin.
