I recently rediscovered my love of reading, and I'm trying to get back into it. I'm not even really positive what I like anymore. Some books I've read in the past that I've enjoyed have been Misery, The Shining, Harry Potter, and The Hobbit. I have a tendency to pick books that, for lack of a batter way of putting it, I know I'll like and I know what they are about before I read them. I want some good books either based off of those recommendations or just some of your own favorites.
I have no problem with violence, gore, or language. I just am not a fan of much romance or something sexually explicit. Hopefully that's not a big deal. Bonus points if I can read it for free on Kindle Unlimited.
